Program Objective

The aim of the Department of English Language and Literature program is to train contemporary philologists who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to serve in various professions with their language skills and cultural background, who have internalized universal values, who closely follow the changing global dynamics and who have adopted the importance of lifelong learning. The English Language and Literature Undergraduate Program aims to provide students with professional competence in the fields of language, literature, literary history, criticism and cultural studies.
