- To have the necessary theoretical knowledge to study the basic and contemporary texts of English literature in the context of historical, social, cultural, economic, political and ecological backgrounds;
- In order to develop an unbiased, respectful and open-to-communication attitude towards different languages, religions, gender and cultural identities by adopting basic universal values;
- To transfer the knowledge, communication skills, critical perspective and flexibility gained by culture and literature to professional and social life.
